REDDITCH boxer Leo ‘The Lionheart’ Fanthome made a winning return to the ring in his third professional fight

Mr Peter Martin from Redditch has campaigned against Knife Crime since witnessing his best friend being stabbed multiple times in 2011. He has set up #DropTheKnife youth engagement workshops and self defense lessons.
He visits schools and colleges in the Redditch and Bromsgrove area and educates young people about the Dangers and consequences of knife crime.
At the end of November, he reached a total of 50,000 young people in schools and colleges as part of his Drop The Knife Project. He has also helped supply 100 Bleed kits to the community.
Mr Martin has received numerous awards including a points of light award from the Prime Minister.

11-year-old Isaac Winfield, who opened a food bank in his garden shed to help the poor during COVID-19 lockdowns.
Now, Isaac has opened a “gift bank” for moms and dads who can’t afford presents for their children, in addition to a fifth shed-born foodbank.
December is a big month for Isaac. It’s his birthday month, but there’s also Christmas, and the anniversary of the launch of his food bank, which he started with money from his birthday.
He went on to open additional food banks in his hometown of Redditch, in Worcestershire, England, after realizing how many people in his community needed a helping hand.
Shakespeare Treasure often donates food to this food bank and others.
